My Fit Religion

My Fit Religion Blog

This blog is extension of our passion for FITNESS, FOOD and PHOTOGRAPHY. These are our opinions, thoughts and training ideas, take them or leave them.

What to expect from My Fit Religion: No 💥👊💥 pulled, no fluffy 🐮💩 or deceitful statements about how you can lose your arse, gut and tuck shop arms in a week, only tried and tested facts… We live and breathe what we preach… You will get FUNCTIONAL training advice to compliment the nutritional info you are provided at MyFoodReligion and ensure you are tooled up to become the best possible version of you!!!

We detest cliche’s, but this one has merit in the world of health and fitness… ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got’… If you want the utmost efficiency, consistent improvement, and balanced abilities; whether its for holistic health or competitive sport, you MUST participate in year round, cycled conditioning programs, you MUST progressively overload the body, you MUST learn to enjoy a little pain, you MUST be realistic and patient (you aren’t going to lose 5kgs, or grow arms like Arnie overnight… Unless you are pushing needles into your arse…) – It’s a lifestyle, not a short term ‘phase’…

You MUST be defiant, determined, committed and ruthless (the lazy call it obsessed, the fit call it dedicated… There I go again using another sh!tty cliche!!!), and you MUST start from somewhere, embracing your current state of health / fitness and never slipping behind your line in the sand… ONLY if you can achieve ALL the MUST’s we have mentioned, will you achieve long term results…

We will aim to post 2 ‘Challenges Of the Week’, or ‘COW’s’ if you will. One fitness related, your ‘Fit COW’ and one nutrition related, your ‘Food COW’. Do them, report back if you like, ask questions, challenge yourself. Ready? Set? Go!

Team Coops, just high-5ing during our wedding ceremony….. Better than the ‘chest slam’ option I guess 😉
