Ok, don’t freak out when you see the first ingredient! I promise it does not taste ANYTHING like avocado. The avo just gives this a really great texture. This is a really great, healthy and delicious dessert. Avocados are loaded with vitamins and minerals especially very high levels of vitamin E making them a fantastic anti-inflammatory, they help reduce the signs of aging, regulate blood sugar and promote eye health. Raw cacao has more than 4 times the antioxidants found in green tea and more magnesium than any other whole food!
2 avocados
1/2 cup agave syrup or pure maple syrup (lower sugar option is 4 fresh dates instead, you might need to add a few tablespoons of coconut milk to make the mixture a bit wetter)
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup raw cacao
1 tbsp cinnamon
Chuck it all in food processor and blend until smooth, if you can still taste avo, add more cacao, 1 tbs at a time, if it is too bitter, add more agave 1 tbs at a time. It should not taste at all like avocado but have the texture from it. I normally chuck it in the fridge for a few hours then serve with some raspberries.

I can’t wait to try this when I get home from school on Thursday! I never thought of using avocado to get the type of texture you want in dairy-free recipes.
