After looking at so many people’s fabulous blogs, I decided that MyFoodReligion needed a bit of a spruce up, or a “joozh” as Carlson from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy would say. So, here it is.
Hopefully it is a bit more user friendly now that you can “search” for specific ingredients on the search bar or use the “categories” tab to find meal type you are after. I have also added a few links on the side of websites you might like to visit.
I am also the proud new owner of a THERMOMIX which should hopefully arrive next week when I get back from holidays!! This thing is like the King of all appliances. It is every kitchen appliance I have taking up cupboard space (blender, food processor, stick mixer, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer), as well as all the ones I want (ice cream maker, yoghurt maker, juicer), rolled into one. I met my first Thermomix on Saturday and it was love at 1st sight and I knew right away that we were meant to be together. I will be paying it off for the rest of my life but I am hoping that I will be saving some serious $$ when I can make my own almond meal, nut butter, coconut milk yoghurt and ice cream in a jiffy instead of paying a fortune for them in the store.
